Lately I always seem to talk about finding your tribe and surrounding yourself with people who believe in you. Well it's the truth, 100%. My friend Kristi fully believes in me and my jewelry. She loves what I make and buys from me a lot. It's a great feeling to know that your friends have your back.
So much so, that she wore my jewelry when she was interviewed for a local tv station! NBC10 She's such a good friend, she chose to wear them herself, I didn't even have to ask. She rocks.
Definitely click the NBC10 link above and read the story about online privacy. I learned a few things that I had no idea was happening when I browse for stuff online! If you search for thrill seeking dangerous things, it could be harder to get insurance, if you search for luxury items, you could pay higher airline ticket prices!! What the what?? That never occurred to me before.
But back to my friends for a minute. When you have friends and family that support you and your dreams, it's inspiring. I know that I can use them a sounding boards and they will tell it to me straight. To know how excited your friends get for you when something great happens... Or they are the first ones to shout from the roof tops that you make beautiful jewelry. They tell their friends to buy your stuff. Anything that they do to help you, or me. Let's face it, I am really talking about me and not just hypothetically. Knowing that all of my friends have my back, gives me so much confidence. I am not going at this thing alone. IT fills my heart. Find people that believe in you, whatever it is that makes you happy. Find people that also like what you like, or like that you like it. Having people in your life that make you feel great for whatever reason, makes this journey of life so much easier. Easier is better. Easier is happier. And life should be as happy as you can possibly make it, right??
Don't take your friends and family for granted. Not everyone has the luxury of having great people in your life. Tell them they are awesome and you appreciate them.
Happiness comes in many ways to many different people. For me, it's feeling loved and appreciated. It's also laughter, pizza, Reece's Peanut Butter Cups and beer ;)
